I enjoyed the interactions between her and Jackson. Despite what had happened to her she was determined to overcome the odds. I was impressed with how strong Raisa was, and how she wasn’t going to let anything keep her down. The book grabbed me right at the beginning. I enjoy the interactions between the two main characters Raisa and Jackson, they are obviously attracted to each other but both are cut from similar cloth and refuse to be subservient to each other, they are both dominant personas and expect to call the shots which obviously is not contusive to an agreeable relationship. Raisa is a cool, strong individual that is more than capable of standing on her own two feet, she is used to being self-reliant knowing her life could very much depend on her success. Subsequently spoiling the read for those readers who like myself like too be surprised and read the book for themselves. I was instantly grabbed by the start of this book, there was no slow build and as I hate reviewers that give away the plot or toom much about the story I will endeavour to “Dangle the Carrot” without giving it away.
